2014 marked another incredible and successful year for the Arpa International Film Festival! The festival was a great event where filmmakers and audiences joined together to support their love for film. Arpa was honored to showcase films from around the world, hosting 48 films from 16 different countries.

Our industry panel of judges chose “37: A Final Promise” (USA) as Arpa’s Best Feature Film and Best Director. The Best Screenplay award went to “Tevanik” (Armenia), the Best Short Film was “Arena” (Poland), Best Documentary was given to “When My Sorrow Died: The Legend of Armen Ra and the Theremin” (USA) and “Rich Husband” (USA) as Best Music Video.

Our festival also let the audience members judge and choose the films they though were the best in each category. Our audience voted after every screening and chose “Toastmaster” (Spain/USA) as Best Feature, “Hannah: Buddhism’s Untold Journey” (UK) as Best Documentary, and “Return of the Tyke” (UK) as Best Short Film.
