Logline: Beto lives a lonely life following the recent death of his wife. When he learns of his grandson’s visit, he prepares their favorite dish for the special occasion: Carne Asada.
Synopsis: An emotional ode to grandparents everywhere, Carne depicts Beto’s descent into a monotonous, lonely life following the death of his wife, Sylvia. However, he finds purpose again through cooking and family as he prepares a dinner for his grandson’s surprise visit.
